– Miami’s offense ranks 45th in the nation with 422.6 yards per game. They rank 22nd in passing yards per game (290.4 yards per game) and 89th in rushing yards per game (132.2 yards per game). 

Miami’s passing attack from a yardage standpoint has been consistently good, though they have just seven passing touchdowns in eight games.

Their rushing attack has been a mixed bag. In their four wins, they average 184.0 rushing yards per game. In their four losses, they are averaging just 81.25 rushing yards per game. Nine of their 11 rushing touchdowns have come in victories.

From a situational standpoint, Miami is 45th in the nation on third down conversions – they convert 42.4% of the time. They have converted 47.4% of their fourth down attempts, which is tied for 80th in the nation.

The offense has produced 195 first downs on the season, which ranks 31st in the nation.

In the red zone, Miami converts for points on 86.1% of their visits, which ranks 52nd in the nation. They have made 36 red zone visits and scored 31 times, which 20 touchdowns (11 rushing, nine passing) and 11 made field goals.

The 27.4 points per game scored by the offense ranks 76th in the nation. They averaged 33.5 points per game when they have won and 21.3 points per game when they have lost this season.

– Defensively the Hurricanes are allowing 343.0 yards per game, which ranks 34th in the nation. They are limiting opponents on the ground to just 113.5 yards per game, which ranks 24th. Through the year, opponents are averaging 229.5 yards per game, which ranks 65th.
