“Still Need Brain Development”: CFB Fans React to Darian Mensah Running the “Worst 2 Min Drill” As Miami Loses 31–24 to Notre Dame
Darian Mensah may apparently need some more seasoning before being considered a top quarterback prospect.
During the closing stages of Saturday’s game against Notre Dame, the Miami quarterback botched the final drive, forgetting to spike the ball with 13 seconds left. It resulted in a 24-31 loss for the Hurricanes and much ridicule from fans:

Meanwhile, CJ Carr led the Fighting Irish with 29/40 for 319 yards and three touchdowns. Micah Gilbert had two of those scores.

“This one definitely stings, and like I said earlier, we’ve got to use it. But like you said, everything we want is still in front of us. We’ve got to stay positive and be ready to come to work Monday.”
He added:
“We’ve got to start faster. I’ve got to play better. We can’t turn it over. I know the situation, and I’m really just hurting for our guys right now.”
Miami hosts Duke next Saturday. Kickoff is at 12 p.m. ET.
