Dallas Cowboys at Miami Dolphins: Game predictions, picks, odds
The Bengals, Bears, and 49ers are locks for Week 16
Lorenzo Reyes is back with his best bets for NFL Week 16.
Sports Seriously
The Dallas Cowboys (10-4) were humbled last week and face another tough road game in Week 16 at Hard Rock Stadium against the Miami Dolphins (10-4).
Dak Prescott might have fallen out of the MVP race with an abysmal performance in Dallas’ 31-10 beatdown at the hands of the Buffalo Bills. The quarterback threw for a season-low 134 yards and didn’t throw a touchdown for only the second time this season. The Cowboys are 3-4 on the road.
The Dolphins rebounded last week after a primetime upset. The defense had their first shutout of the season as they beat the New York Jets 30-0. The offense was without star receiver Tyreek Hill. In his absence, Jaylen Waddle had eight catches for a season-high 142 yards and a touchdown. Raheem Mostert scored twice to set the franchise record with 20 touchdowns on the season.
Will the Cowboys be able to capture the road upset? Or will the Dolphins’ dominance continue?

Lorenzo Reyes: Dolphins 30, Cowboys 26
The Dolphins play fairly well at home, with their lone loss coming two weeks ago against the Titans. The Cowboys struggle on the road and are 3-4 away from Arlington. I’m expecting Miami to have a plan to use its speed to exploit Dallas’ rush defense. I think this is a nice candidate for the over.
Tyler Dragon: Dolphins 27, Cowboys 24
The Cowboys struggle on the road and the Dolphins have benefitted from a soft schedule. This is a game that could change the perception of each team. The Cowboys struggle with pre-snap motion and misdirection plays. The Dolphins run a similar scheme as the 49ers, and Miami has the fastest player in the NFL in Tyreek Hill. Advantage Dolphins.
Safid Deen: Dolphins 27, Cowboys 23
Tyreek Hill (ankle) should be back in the lineup for the Dolphins, who are 6-1 at home and need a win over a contender to show they have a chance to be one themselves this season. Don’t like the Cowboys traveling on back-to-back weeks, and the Dolphins could follow Buffalo’s game plan of pounding the football on the ground to their advantage.
Victoria Hernandez: Dolphins 27, Cowboys 17
The Cowboys are playing in their second straight road game and were exposed last week in a smacking at the hands of the Bills. The Dolphins rebounded nicely from a loss of their own in a game that they were supposed to win, but they were without Tyreek Hill. Dallas will be weary and Miami will have no problem capitalizing on their road woes.
Jordan Mendoza: Dolphins 29, Cowboys 26
Last week showed there are some gaps in the Cowboys’ defense, and they’re going against a team that runs that ball extremely well. That, plus the possible return of Tyreek Hill, gives Miami the edge in this big contest.
