Miami Dolphins News 11/26/23: Dolphins lose Jaelan Phillips for the season


We sort of knew the severity of Jaelan Phillips injury when it happened, but we got the official confirmation yesterday that he would miss the rest of the season with a torn Achilles. It’s a huge loss for a Miami Dolphins team that is poised to make a playoff run with a defense that has steadily improved over the season. Phillips was battling some injuries earlier in the year but has come on strong over the past few weeks. With Phillips going down, expect to see more Andrew Van Ginkel and Emmanuel Ogbah heading forward and it wouldn’t be shocking to see the Dolphins bring in another pass rusher off the streets at some point.
