Thoughts

The Noles enter the game as -14.5 betting favorites and the over/under points total is 51. Those odds imply a 33-18 win for the Noles. It’s a sell-out crowd at Doak Campbell Stadium, and the Noles will have near 100 recruits in the stands to watch the game.

FSU looks to win their third consecutive game in the series, and its second straight win over Mario Cristobal. A win over Miami gives the Noles a perfect season in the conference and huge bragging rights over a rival they compete against on the recruiting trails a ton. Actually, there are a couple of Miami commits the Noles will look to flip with an impressive performance.

A Miami loss could send the Canes spiraling to a 6-6 finish, which would put a serious dent in the goodwill Mario Cristobal had built up earlier this season. Miami will play Louisville and Boston College to finish their regular season. Miami will play North Alabama and Florida in their remaining games. A win over Miami will give the Noles an opportunity to capture the state title of Florida for the second year in a row.
