Lowry responds to Butler’s ‘Bat-Signal’ before Miami Heat west coast trip

The Miami Heat are getting set to head out west after consecutive wins over two teams from the Western Conference in their own building. Beating Minnesota on Monday, before knocking off the Lakers Wednesday, hopefully, the Miami Heat can finally begin to build some sort of real momentum.

But, in order to build constant momentum on the court and in the standings, they’ll have to find that same kind of consistency in their health and roster availability. Though the one in question, at this particular moment, isn’t an injury, it was an absence that can impact the Miami Heat.

Missing Wednesday’s win due to “personal reasons”, you can be sure they had to have hoped to have Kyle Lowry back in the lineup more sooner than later. And, at least, one guy was more than vocal about it, sort of.

With the Miami Heat beginning a tough road trip with back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday, all hands are on deck. And that includes Kyle Lowry.

Taking to his own Instagram account after the win over LA, Butler posted a classic Bat-Signal type of image of Kyle Lowry’s silhouette to his stories.

If you know the history of the “Bat-Signal”, it’s the “distress” symbol of Gotham City, the home of the Batman superhero. So, the only inference is that Jimmy Butler is saying that same thing to Lowry in wake of their road trip.

Again, having the opportunity to really begin to build some momentum here, they will face the Denver Nuggets on Friday, before taking on the Utah Jazz Saturday on New Year’s Eve.

It’s really a thumper of a back-to-back set of games for any team and especially a Miami Heat team that is still searching and learning how to play as a whole or not whole unit for all their injury and roster volatility this season.

They are all pros though and this is the job, so the Miami Heat just have to go out there and try to do it. However, Butler knows they’ll need Kyle Lowry to get it done and luckily, he’ll be there.
