How to Watch D.C. United vs. Orlando City SC – MLS (7/31/22) | Channel, Stream, Preview

In the lone Major League Soccer contest on Sunday, one club with playoff aspirations gets set to take on one of the bottom-dwellers in the league, as Orlando City heads to the nation’s capital to take on DC United.

Orlando came into the weekend tied with the Columbus Crew for fifth in the conference, with each team holding 30 points to their record thus car. Both teams are 15 back of the East-leading Philadelphia Union, and are five back of CF Montreal, who hold the last home-field advantage spot in the conference. Most recently, Orland suffered a loss at the hands of Philly, and are looking for their first win since downing Inter Miami on July 9. Orlando is almost happy to get out of Florida, as they have a below .500 record at Exploria Stadium, and are 3-2-6 on the road.

DC United has not had the greatest season, nor have they been a threat since making the playoffs three years ago. In 2022, DC has the fewest points among any team in the MLS (18), two less than Sporting Kansas City. They have been victorious in just one of their last 11 regular season matches, and have gone winless in their last four, including a loss to Montreal last Saturday. They are also tied for the least number of wins on home soil this season, with just three wins at Audi Field.

This is the second meeting of the season between the two clubs, with DC pulling out a 5-3 win in Orlando back on the 4th of July.
