Heat vs. 76ers score: Live updates from NBA playoffs as Miami tries to extend series lead in Game 2

The Miami Heat aim to extend their series lead against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night. The Heat pulled away from their second-round opponent in Game 1 on Monday, cruising to a 14-point win with a strong second half. If the 76ers are going to even the series on the road, they’re going to have to do it without their star center. Joel Embiid could potentially return for Friday’s Game 3, but he will be sidelined again in Game 2 due to a concussion and fractured orbital bone. After one quarter, the Heat lead the Sixers 31-24.

Miami is not at full strength either, as Kyle Lowry will miss his fourth game in a row with a hamstring strain. Neither team shot particularly well in Game 1, but the Heat got a combined 49 points from Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo. Philadelphia, meanwhile, made just six of its 34 3-point attempts in the series opener, and James Harden was limited to 16 points on 13 field goal attempts. Here’s how to watch Wednesday’s Game 2.

Can the 76ers steal a win on the road? Or will Miami take a 2-0 lead to Philly? CBS Sports will be providing live updates, analysis, highlights and more. Follow along below during Game 2.
