Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins have some scores to settle this upcoming season. Here are three games they should circle for 2022.

The Miami Dolphins had one of the best free agent periods of any team in the NFL. Not only did they fill holes in free agency by shoring up the offensive line and revamping the running game, but they made one of the biggest off season splashes by acquiring Tyreek Hill as well.

The Dolphins had expectations last season, but nothing like the pressure they’ll feel in 2022. Yes, it is Mike McDaniel’s first year as a head coach, and there will be growing pains. But there are now bundles of talent at nearly every position on the field for Miami, and anything less than a winning record or playoff appearance could be seen as a failure.

The 2022 campaign will be bigger for no one more than quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. One of the most criticized signal callers in the game, the third-year man now has the keys to what should be one of the league’s most high-powered offenses. Based on what has been said about him (and the Dolphins’ potential ability to replace him), it will be a make or break season for Tua.

Every game will be important for someone who will be under the microscope as much as Tagovailoa. But there are a few contests that will loom larger than the others. If he cares at all about dispelling the critical notions about his early career, he’ll have to have some of his best performances against a few particular teams.

Here are the three games that Tua Tagovailoa will circle on the calendar when the schedule is released:
