Over 6,000 power outages reported across the Miami Valley – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

MIAMI VALLEY — Power outages are being reported as strong wind gusts are expected to move through the Miami Valley overnight.

According to the AES Ohio outages map, 6,693 customers are currently without power as of 2:40 a.m.

Outages are being reported in the following counties:

• Montgomery County: 1,332
• Preble County: 1, 368
• Greene County: 342
• Clinton County: 1,299
• Warren: 107
• Darke: 230
• Auglaize: 77
• Clark: 8
• Shelby: 26
• Miami: 1,662
• Champaign: 46

A High Wind Warning has been issued for the Miami Valley until 6 a.m. Thursday.
