1 hospitalized after vehicle crashes into canal in southwest Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – One person was rushed to a hospital Friday morning after a vehicle crashed into a canal in southwest Miami-Dade.

The accident occurred in the area of Southwest 167th Avenue and 42nd Street.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel and Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies were spotted at the scene.

Local 10′s Liane Morejon reported that one block leading up to the canal was blocked off after the accident.

No other details were immediately released.
