Crews respond to fiery crash on Interstate 75 in Miami-Dade – NBC 6 South Florida

Crews were responding to a fiery crash on Interstate 75 in Miami-Dade Thursday evening.

The crash was reported in the southbound express lanes of I-75 near Miami Gardens Drive.

Footage showed a large fire on the highway’s median where what appeared to be a flatbed tractor-trailer carrying dumpsters had crashed, with debris scattered across the roadway.

Firefighters quickly arrived and extinguished the fire.

All southbound express lanes were closed in the area as a result of the crash and rush hour traffic was being impacted.

No other information was immediately known.
