A person was taken into custody after a woman was found dead in Miami Beach Saturday night, police said.

Officers were responding to a welfare check at 800 Washington Avenue around 9:20 p.m. when they found the woman’s body, Miami Beach Police officials said.

Police haven’t released her identity or any details about how she may have died.

Officials said a person was taken into custody, and said it appears to be an isolated incident.

The circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation, officials said.
