Travis Kelce Is Seen Leaving His Hotel After Attending F1 Miami Grand Prix

Travis Kelce is on the move.

After a busy weekend jetting to the Kentucky Derby on Saturday and Miami on Sunday for the F1 Miami Grand Prix, the superstar Chiefs tight end, 34, was seen loading his bags into an SUV and leaving his hotel to board a private jet on Monday, May 6.

Kelce looked focused and ready for his next destination as he departed the Miami hotel in gray sweatpants and a black New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce t-shirt.

The three-time Super Bowl champ topped off his travel-day look with black-and-white Nike sneakers, a white Kith baseball cap and silver hoop earrings as he carried his black luggage to the vehicle.

The Super Bowl champ was in town to support his F1 team Alpine Racing at the Grand Prix alongside his teammate and close friend Patrick Mahomes.

The Chiefs stars became the lead investors in an ownership group that secured $218 million for Alpine Racing in October, venture capital group Otro Capital announced at the time. The investment group also includes four-time golf champion Rory McIlroy and Olympic boxing gold medalist Anthony Joshua.

Kelce and Mahomes, 28, who brought his wife Brittany Mahomes along for the race weekend, seemed to have a blast during their trip to Miami.

Alpine Racing shared a clip on Instagram of Kelce at the F1 Grand Prix proudly repping a baseball cap with the team’s logo. The team fittingly set the clip of the NFL star to his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s song “Florida!!!” and captioned it, “Welcome to Florida, @killatrav.”

Swift, 34, wasn’t in attendance for the Grand Prix, but Kelce still managed to give his superstar girlfriend a nod when he was spotted accepting a friendship bracelet — a signature of her Eras Tour — from a young fan during the event. In a video shared by ESPN on Instagram, Kelce could be seen taking the homemade jewelry as he walked past a crowd of people.

“You’re too kind, thank you very much,” he said to the young fan, adding: “I wish I had one to give him back.”

Following the race — in which Alpine finished in 10th place, earning the team its first point of the season — photographers spotted the Chiefs players exiting the annual Carbone Beach party, presented by American Express in Miami.

And before he hit Miami for the Grand Prix on Sunday, Kelce was spotted looking dapper in a white pinstripe double-breasted suit at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.

The night before, the multi-talented NFL star stopped by the Chainsmokers’ Louisville show at the Ice House venue as part of the Sports Illustrated Revel at the Races concert ahead of the Derby. In a photo posted on Friday, May 3 by Chainsmoker Alex Pall to Instagram Stories, Kelce could be seen posing for the camera alongside retired NBA star Chandler Parsons.

Just days before Kelce’s big weekend out, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that the Kansas City tight end had agreed to extend his contract with the Chiefs for two more years.

Kelce’s extension is worth more than $17 million a year, making him the highest-paid tight end in the league.

His longtime agent, Mike Simon, negotiated the deal, the financial details of which were not immediately disclosed.

Mahomes celebrated Kelce’s extension after the news was announced in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), writing, “I told yall I’ll never let him leave!! Congrats my guy!”
