Detectives investigate shooting in Downtown Miami

MIAMI – A woman said she quickly hid under her bed with her dog — fearing for her life — after a gunshot hit her apartment window on Sunday in Downtown Miami.

Residents said they felt the bullets flying. Police officers responded to the area near Northeast Second Street and Third Avenue, just west of Biscayne Boulevard.

No one was injured. Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
