Amid the myriad of lawsuits swirling around Sean “Diddy” Combs, it stands to reason why those closest to him in his inner circle would choose to distance themselves.

That appears to be the case for Diddy’s girlfriend and rapper Yung Miami—one half of the rap duo The City Girls. As noticed by keen-eyed fans earlier this week, the “Act Up” rapper unfollowed Diddy on Instagram and wiped away any photos of the two from her page. The two were last spotted publicly in 2023 during REVOLT World 2023 presented by Walmart at Pangaea Studios in Atlanta—nearly two months before Cassie Venture dropped the bombshell lawsuit against him and other  sexual assault lawsuits followed.

And while we know an unfollow isn’t as rock solid as a statement, we can surmise that Yung Miami may definitely be taking a page out from some of Diddy’s other closest friends and putting space between the two of them. Other signs that point to it include the fact that she’s been heavily promoting her new single “Can’t Fuck With Me,” promoting her new line of merch “The Gays,” with a portion of the proceeds benefitting GLAAD for more LGBTQIA programming and gearing up to enter her “Yams Era,” signifying her new music is slowly coming upon us. With all these ventures and more on the line, it’s no wonder why she’d finally cut ties.

However, the timing is a little interesting considering the fact that folks noticed she unfollowed him after the triggering and now-viral footage of Ventura getting physically assaulted by Diddy was released to the press. While there’s no exact way to pinpont when exactly she hit that button, it begs the question of why it may have taken her this long to do so. Especially considering the fact that she’s name-dropped in the sexual assault lawsuit from Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones where she stands accused of transporting “pink cocaine”—a mix of both cocaine and ectasy—known on the street as “tuci.” The “Rodeo” rapper was also listed as an alleged sex worker for Diddy who allegedly received a“monthly fee.”

Though we await official confirmation of their breakup, Lord knows her severing ties might do her well at this stage in the game.
