Police investigate shooting at Hilton Miami Downtown

MIAMI – Miami police confirmed Wednesday morning that they were investigating a shooting that occurred at the Hilton Miami Downtown.

According to police, the shooting was reported just before 2:30 a.m. at the hotel located at 1601 Biscayne Blvd.

Police did not immediately specify whether the shooting occurred inside or just outside the hotel.

According to authorities, a man was injured in the shooting and is listed in stable condition.

Police confirmed that a possible suspect has been detained.
