How to Watch D.C. United vs. Inter Miami – MLS (3/16/24)

WASHINGTON, DC — One of the greatest players in the world looks to help keep his team’s hot start on Saturday, as Lionel Messi and Inter Miami get set to do battle with D.C. United.

It has not been a picture-perfect start to the season for Miami, but then again, the club has been focused on the CONCACAF Champions Cup while trying to get into the swing of things in regular-season play. After the second leg of their Round of 16 matchup with Nashville, Miami is looking to pick up their first MLS win in over two weeks, as they dropped a disappointing 3-2 result at home to CF Montreal, which marked their first loss of the season.

At the moment, Miami is one of five clubs to have seven points in the Eastern Conference, as no team in the league has three wins yet.

D.C. United might be unbeaten so far in 2024, and they have yet to shown some strides of improvement after a number of lackluster seasons. After beginning their season with a bang, beating the New England Revolution, they went on the road to pick up points against the Portland Timbers and FC Cincinnati. For a club that has consistently been the near the bottom of the Eastern Conference, D.C. has to like the way it has started 2024.

Prior to Messi’s arrival last season, D.C. beat Miami in South Beach, before drawing with them at home.
