At least 1 killed in North Miami Beach car crash

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – North Miami Beach police are investigating a fatal car crash that occurred Thursday morning.

According to authorities, a pickup truck crashed in the area of Northeast 172nd Street and Biscayne Boulevard.

Sky 10 was above the scene around 7 a.m. It appeared that the truck went over the sidewalk and crashed into a fence.

A yellow tarp covered a body on the ground just outside the truck.

Police confirmed that only one vehicle was involved in the crash.

No other details were immediately released.
