Driver crashes into bus stop in northwest Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police responded to a crash at a local bus stop Friday night.

It happened at the intersection of Northwest 107th Street and Seventh Avenue, near the county’s Pinewood area.

It appeared that a driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a bus stop near the area.

Fire rescue personnel said the driver was transported to Florida HCA Aventura Hospital.

A Local 10 News crew was in the area where a Miami-Dade police public service aide was seen speaking with a man who appeared to be the driver’s father.

Police have not provided an update on the driver’s condition or identity.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
