Dolphins’ playoff schedule announced: Dates and times

MIAMI GARDENS — The Miami Dolphins are either playing next Sunday or Saturday of the first round of the playoffs, the NFL’s wild card weekend.

If the Dolphins win against the Buffalo Bills Sunday night, their rematch with the Bills in the wild-card round right back at Hard Rock Stadium will be a 1 p.m. kickoff next Sunday.

If Miami loses to the Bills, dropping the team to No. 6 in the AFC, it will travel to Kansas City for the Saturday night 8 p.m. game against the Chiefs.

The scenario of a Dolphins tie against the Bills also has them staying at home for the 1 p.m. game, but facing the Pittsburgh Steelers instead of Buffalo.

The NFL playoff matchups that are set are Cleveland at Houston at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Green Bay at Dallas at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Los Angeles Rams at Detroit Sunday at 8 p.m. and Philadelphia at Tampa Bay at 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15.
