Cyclist struck and killed on Coral Way in Miami-Dade – NBC 6 South Florida
Miami-Dade Police are investigating after a cyclist was struck and killed early Wednesday morning on a section of Coral Way.
The cyclist was struck on Coral Way near Southwest 72nd Avenue, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity hasn’t been released.
According to police, the westbound lanes of Coral Way were closed off between Southwest 70th and 72nd avenues as a result of the crash.
Authorities urged drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while the investigation was underway.
