GPA inaugurates Media Hub of the Americas office in Miami

The Media Hub of the Americas inaugurated its new office at the federal building in downtown Miami during a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Bureau of Global Public Affairs (GPA) Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Kristin Kane (center), Nov. 30, 2023. This is the first permanent home for the hub, which launched in 2009. The Media Hub of the Americas is one of six regional hubs operated by GPA’s Office of International Media Engagement. The Miami Hub hosts the Department of State’s Spanish- and Portuguese-language spokespersons and social media accounts and offers a range of services to international media outlets and posts.
