Miami landed a commitment from four-star defensive lineman Kendall Jackson, a former Florida Gators commitment from Gainesville Buchholz, on Saturday. Here’s what you need to know:
Jackson is rated the No. 408 overall recruit in the 247Sports Composite and is the nephew of former Gators receiver Aubrey Hill, who passed away in 2020 at age 48. Hill coached at Miami, Florida and FIU.
Jackson (6-foot-4, 255 pounds) produced 50 tackles, four for loss and three sacks in 14 games as a high school senior. He had six sacks as a junior.
Miami’s recruiting class has 28 commitments and is ranked fifth in the 247Sports Composite team rankings.
