Rapper 2 Chainz rushed to Miami hospital after overnight crash on I-95

MIAMI – Rapper 2 Chainz was rushed to a Miami hospital following a crash on Interstate 95 overnight Saturday, entertainment news website TMZ reports.

The outlet reports that the 46-year-old, whose real name is Tauheed K. Epps, was in town for Art Basel and had left the Booby Trap strip club just before the crash.

Epps posted a video on his Instagram story showing himself being loaded into an ambulance by Miami Fire Rescue.

TMZ, citing local sources, reports that the rapper was exiting the freeway when a Tesla driver, possibly under the influence, rear-ended him.

The outlet reports that the Grammy-winning artist suffered neck injuries “and possibly other injuries as well,” but was stable.
