Shots fired during attempted burglary in west Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are investigating after they say shots were fired Wednesday morning during an attempted burglary in west Miami-Dade.

The incident was reported at an apartment complex, located at 8183 NW Eighth St.

According to law enforcement scanner traffic, officers lost sight of a Nissan Altima that fled the scene after the attempted burglary.

No other details were immediately released by police.
