Miami Heat’s Duncan Robinson has scored a new $4.5 million pre-construction condo at Villa Miami, the city’s first luxury tower branded by hospitality company Major Food Group, home of celeb fave restaurants like Carbone.

The unit, which was asking $4.6 million, closed on Oct. 17. Construction for the 650-foot-high tower is slated to begin in early 2024, with completion targeted for the end of 2026.

The 58-story tower will come with 72 units, a helipad and private dock — and panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and the city skyline. It’s MFG’s first step extending its brand into real estate, with developers Terra and One Thousand Group.

Chef Mario Carbone has designed the kitchens. Carbone, along with his fellow MFG founding partners Jeff Zalaznick and Rich Torrisi, will cover all food and beverage amenities in the building, including a residents-only juice bar and coffee lounge, on-site event catering and at-home private chef services or cooking lessons.

The tower also has a private member’s club with a curated library, lounge rooms, a boardroom, private offices and screening rooms. Amenities include a gym, with yoga and boxing, a pool and a spa with marble plunge pools and an herbal steam room.

The three-bedroom, 3½-bath, half-floor condo in Miami’s Edgewater district will be 3,000 square feet. It will feature two balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows as well as travertine marble, and custom wooden floors and doors. Its interior designs are by Vicky Charles, the former head of global design for Soho House, whose clients include George and Amal Clooney, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Emma Stone, Harry Styles and David and Victoria Beckham.

The building, at 710 NE 29th St., will also boast MFG’s first waterfront restaurant with two floors for dining, plus a bar and private lounge space. Robinson, 29, says the building’s proximity to downtown and Miami Beach made the purchase “a no-brainer.”

In a statement, Robinson added: “I love that Major Food Group will have not only a restaurant right downstairs, but also will be managing all the hospitality in the building for owners.”

Douglas Elliman’s Julian Calderin and Caroline Nava repped Robinson; Douglas Elliman’s Sari Libbin Shapiro reps Villa.
