What are the odds? Commanders are home underdogs vs the Miami Dolphins

The Washington Commanders were 12 1/2-point road underdogs against the Dallas Cowboys, and they lost 45-10 in a Thanksgiving day blowout. Washington kept it semi-competitive until the 4th quarter where they were outscore 25-0. Head coach Ron Rivera fired DC Jack Del Rio and DBs coach Brent Vieselmeyer the day after that embarrassing loss. Rivera will be taking over the play-calling duties on defense for the first time since 2019.

The Commanders get a mini-bye week following their Thanksgiving loss, and they’re returning home to FedEx Field for a Week 13 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. They played in the NFL’s first-ever Black Friday game, and will also be coming into the game on extra rest. Washington hasn’t won at home since Week 1, and are coming into this game as big underdogs against a top team in the NFL.

Washington opens as 9-point home underdogs against the Dolphins. The over/under is 49 1/2, which is up 1 point from last week.

DraftKings Sportsbook odds: Washington +9, 49 1/2 O/U

Dolphins -440

Commanders +340
