Miami-Dade County Condo Sales Rise Last Week


Last week was a good week for condo sellers in Miami-Dade County.

Total sales, dollar volume and price per square foot were all up versus totals from the first full week of November.

Brokers closed 131 condo sales totaling $105 million From Nov. 12 to Nov. 18, up from 105 sales totaling $64 million the week prior.

Last week’s units sold for an average of $805,000, higher than the $616,000 from Nov. 4 to Nov. 11. The average price per square foot rose to $518 from $508, according to data from condo.com. Condos closed after an average of 61 days on the market.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $1.7 million to $11.9 million. Four sales met or exceeded $5 million in price.

Estates at Aqualina unit 2301 at 17975 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach took the top spot with an $11.9 million closing. Yansy Checa with Aqualina Realty had the listing and David Siddons with Douglas Elliman represented the buyer.

The runner-up was unit 2304 at 17901 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, which sold for $9.9 million — $518 per square foot — after 111 days on the market. Cristina Giral with Basel Boutique Real Estate had the listing. Max Farbstein with Offical represented the buyer.
