Quarterback Tyler Van Dyke went 21 of 38 for 173 yards with three interceptions, leading to talks about whether Mario Cristobal would bench him in the rivalry game for freshman Emory Williams. Xavier Restrepo, the third-leading receiver in the ACC with 683 yards, was held to just three catches for 35 yards in the loss.
