The Miami football team will turn to freshman quarterback Emory Williams against the No. 4 Florida State Seminoles.

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported coach Mario Cristobal would start the freshman over struggling junior Tyler Van Dyke.

Williams has played in four games this season, going a combined 36 of 48 for 295 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He started the Hurricanes’ 28-20 win over Clemson on Oct. 21, going 24 of 33 for 151 yards, a TD and a pick.

Van Dyke started the season strong but has struggling mightily the past four games, throwing 10 interceptions. He went 21 of 38 for 173 scoreless yards and three INTs in last week’s loss at North Carolina State.
