Bad Bunny Rents Swanky NYC Penthouse for $150,000 per Month
We’re used to seeing celebrities shell out lofty amounts of money to buy or build their dream homes, but we were surprised to learn how much Bad Bunny is spending to rent his newest home. The New York Post reported that the Puerto Rican musician is renting a Manhattan penthouse for $150,000 per month, and it may be the most expensive rental in New York City.
Located in the Chelsea neighborhood at 527 West 27th Street, the four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom condo offers an incredible indoor-outdoor living setup across more than 4,500 square feet. While it’s currently on the market for $18.5 million—listed with Million Dollar Listing New York star Ryan Serhant and Chase Landow—it appears that Bad Bunny is taking up residence in the swanky pad in the meantime. Several brokers told Curbed that it was the most expensive apartment at the time Bad Bunny rented it last week and confirmed the rent price. The outlet noted that there are a few other Manhattan apartments listed for that price range, but they don’t often actually rent out for that much.
Bad Bunny’s new digs are certainly exquisite. The interiors feature custom oak paneling, imported Italian doors, sliding glass curtain walls, and 12-foot ceilings. Four terraces allow for outdoor cooking, dining, and relaxing. There’s also a spiral staircase that leads to a full-floor rooftop terrace. Not only is the rooftop the perfect spot for enjoying Hudson River views, but it also comes complete with a 32-foot lap pool. It’s safe to say the luxe pad is worthy of bringing Kendall Jenner over to visit.
Along with this NYC rental, Bad Bunny owns an $8.8 million home in Los Angeles. He also reportedly has a main home in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and has resided in Miami.
