The Most Expensive Condo on Fisher Island Lists for $36.5 Million – Robb Report

Miami’s 216-acre Fisher Island is just minutes from downtown Miami, but the only two ways to access the private island are by helicopter or boat.

The exclusive island features incredible sprawling mansions and luxury condos, as well as the prestigious members-only Fisher Island Club. The high-end club has a beach club, golf, tennis, and two private deep-water marinas. Because it’s a private island with high-end residential offerings, Fisher Island appeals to many privacy-seeking billionaires, celebrities, athletes, and well-known public figures.

In fact, entering the island often requires an invite to the club or the home of a resident or by booking a hotel room. For those who want in on this exclusive lifestyle, why not buy a home? Fisher Island is one of the most expensive ZIP codes in the U.S., and data shows the median home price on Fisher Island is $5.7 million. For those with deeper pockets, consider this $36.41 million unit. Located on the eighth floor of the 10-story luxury condo Palazzo Del Sol, a luxury condo building completed in 2016, this unit is the most expensive resale condo for sale currently on Fisher Island.

The five-bedroom, six-bathroom condo has 7,302 square feet of interior space and 2,471 square feet of outdoor terrace space. It was meticulously re-envisioned by Swiss design firm Dôme Projects, who created warm, elegant interiors adhering to an Art Deco theme. Like a villa in the sky, you enter the home via one of two private elevators into a private foyer.

The heart of the  home is the 2,150-square-foot great room, which features a living room and sectioned dining area. Nearly every surface of this condo was renovated by Dôme. The firm incorporated beautiful moldings and cornices, coffered ceilings, custom furniture, textured wallpaper, and light fixtures ornamented with glass pendants that add a delicate touch. The custom decor and light fixtures recall the ocean and tropical nature. Materials like mother-of-pearl panels and shagreen were added for softness. For those who love to entertain, there is also a custom bar with bar seating and ambient lighting.

The condo has a light-filled dining room just off the living room that is separated via a custom wooden-trellis panel, while retaining the flow of light between both spaces. The dining room has sumptuous hand-painted wallpaper and lacquered wood for added texture. Nearby, the kitchen has custom cabinetry, high-end appliances, a wine cooler, casual eat-in dining area, and soft marble accents. The kitchen and breakfast nook connect to the balcony so you can enjoy your coffee or breakfast overlooking the ocean.

The primary bedroom is a masterclass in sophistication with a pink, gold, and ivory color palette, intricate hand-painted wallpaper with a shiny finish, dripping pendant lights, and shagreen-covered side tables with custom hardware. A private balcony completes the room. The remaining bedrooms are currently designed as children’s bedrooms, with playful wallpaper, custom closets, sea-inspired wallpaper and furnishings, and beautiful built-in desks. To round out the home, there’s a movie room and an office.

Palazzo Del Sol has shared amenities, like a gym, spa, pool and pool deck akin to a hotel, private lounge areas, bocce ball, and a putting green.

The home is listed by Tatyan Ionin of Coldwell Banker Realty.
