Key Players Return Ahead of Giants Game

There are a bunch of reasons why the Miami Dolphins are now 12-point favorites against the New York Giants on Sunday.

A few of them:

  • The Dolphins are 13-2 in their last 15 games at Hard Rock Stadium.
  • They lead the league in almost every offensive statistical category.
  • The Giants’ defense is terrible — and their offense isn’t much better, particularly with three hurt offensive linemen.
  • And finally, the Dolphins are as healthy as they have been in some time.

From the current NFL standings to team depth charts to coverage of every game in the 18-week NFL schedule, we have all the news from around the league to keep you up to speed!

Miami Dolphins Practice Report

Thursday’s Dolphins practice reinforced that statement.

Offensive tackle Terron Armstead, who is out indefinitely with a new knee injury, was the only Dolphins player who did not participate, according to reporters present for Thursday’s session.

Running back Raheem Mostert and cornerback Justin Bethel were both back on the field after getting a rest day Wednesday.

And the nine Dolphins players who were limited Wednesday — WR Braxton Berrios, G Lester Cotton (ankle), S DeShon Elliott (groin), G Robert Jones (knee), DB Nik Needham (Achilles), LB Jaelan Phillips (oblique), C Connor Williams (groin), RB Salvon Ahmed (groin), and G Robert Hunt (knee) — all participated.

Phillips, Williams, and Elliott all missed the Dolphins’ Week 4 loss to the Bills but are increasingly likely to be back for Sunday’s showdown with New York.
