E11even’s Marc Roberts Drops $17M on Miami Beach House

Nightclub mogul Marc Roberts and his wife, Marci Roberts, dropped $16.8 million on a waterfront spec home in Miami Beach, sources told The Real Deal.

The couple bought the newly completed house at 5777 Pine Tree Drive from JSFP II LLC, a Florida entity managed by Spectrum Business Ventures CEO Amit Raizada, records show. Spectrum Business Ventures is a Foothill Ranch, California-based private equity firm, according to LinkedIn. The sale closed Wednesday.

Douglas Elliman’s Dina Goldentayer had the listing, and Michael Gallinar of Adams Gallinar, a lawyer, represented the Roberts.

Josh Altman, a Douglas Elliman agent and “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” star, was having lunch with Marc Roberts at Estiatorio Milos in Miami Beach when the nightclub boss mentioned he was looking to buy a house. Altman, who represents the seller in California deals, made a call from the table.

“We closed the deal over a lobster pasta,” he said. Goldentayer took over from there.

Marc Roberts heads the Miami-based E11even Group. He started his career as a sports agent in the 1980s and 1990s, and became the first person to take a sports management company public. He moved into real estate in the early 2000s, developing condos in Miami. In 2014, he opened E11even, and has since launched two condos with the club’s branding. In February, Roberts, Lion Development Group and PMG announced a planned Airbnb condo tower in downtown Miami near the nightclub.

The Roberts own a condo at Murano at Portofino that they bought for $5.5 million in 2019, records show.

Raizada’s Florida entity bought the 0.3-acre Pine Tree Drive property for $4 million in 2021, records show. Raizada tore down the existing home, and completed the new 7,000-square-foot, six-bedroom house with six and a half bathrooms this year, according to the listing. Juan Carlos Abelairas was the builder. The property includes 76 feet of waterfront, a pool, cabana and wine room, the listing shows.

Raizada listed it for $19.9 million in February, Redfin shows. The sale price amounts to a $3.1 million discount from that price.

Waterfront luxury properties are selling across Miami Beach. On Star Island, rapper Rick Ross bought a waterfront estate for $35 million this month. Last month, former watch retailers Shlomi and Lior Ben-Shmuel sold a waterfront Allison Island teardown for $17.6 million.

Also this month, Cher’s former La Gorce Island estate hit the market for $42.5 million.
