Ticket prices skyrocket ahead of Nashville SC vs. Inter Miami match


Things are going to get Messi Saturday in Nashville.

You might have to dip into your savings, beg for a bigger allowance or reconnect with a rich aunt and uncle to witness greatness when Lionel Messi makes his GEODIS Park debut Saturday when his Inter Miami club takes on Nashville SC in the Leagues Cup final at 8 p.m.

It was a twist of fate, Nashville fans getting a chance to see an all-time great in Messi play at their home park.

The two clubs were set to play each other in an MLS regular season fixture on Aug. 30 but the match is in Miami.

The two played at GEODIS in May, prior to Messi signing with Inter Miami July 15.

Since his signing, MLS-worst Inter Miami has been a wrecking crew in Leagues Cup play with wins over Cruz Azul and Atlanta before facing Nashville SC in Saturday’s final.

How much does a ticket to Nashville SC vs. Lionel Messi, Inter Miami cost?

Tickets for Saturday’s match are going for a pretty penny, especially if you are looking to purchase resale tickets, according to Ticketmaster.

According to ticketmaster.com, two resale tickets in section C02 club level row F will set you back $11,702.95.

What does Ticketmaster’s top seat, section 115 row U cost you to see Messi? A cool $2,342.95 at resale before taxes and fees.

Trying to see Nashville SC, Inter Miami, Lionel Messi on a budget?

The cheapest verified resale ticket is general admission standing room for $807.30 before taxes and fees.

And don’t even think about saving on nosebleed seats.

Section TST37 row C seats 18-19 will cost $3,100.50 before taxes and fees.

And after you secured your tickets, now you can worry about paying for parking, a ride share to the stadium and eats at the stadium.
