Fontainebleau Resort Penthouse Listed For $22M In South FL: Realtor

MIAMI BEACH, FL — A record-breaking listing for a penthouse at the Fontainebleau Resort has hit the market.

Sellers are asking $22 million for penthouse north, which is being sold furnished, at 4401 Collins Ave. in Miami Beach, according to Coldwell Banker Realty.

This is the highest current listing price for units in the building. The previous record ask price for this property was $20 million.

The historic resort is well known throughout South Florida and beyond.

“The Fontainebleau has been a prominent feature in contemporary culture, appearing in numerous movies and television shows, music lyrics as well as nationally televised sporting events,” a news release from the real estate company said. “In addition, The Fontainebleau Resort is somewhat famous, with many celebrities and famous people having stayed there at one time or another. In fact, in 2008, it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.”

Four buildings comprise the oceanfront Fontainebleau, which is located in Millionaires Row. Two buildings are strictly hotels, while two are condo buildings.

The Fontainebleau II Tresor building, which consists of 462 units, has 50 percent studios and 50 percent one-bedroom apartments and just two penthouse units.

The listed penthouse is a “rare opportunity to enjoy the ultimate resort-style living,” the listing reads. The furnished unit is on the building’s 37th floor and has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and two half bathrooms.

The 4,500-square-foot penthouse also boasts views of the ocean, bay, and Miami skyline, as well as a huge terrace with a private pool and shower.
