Suspect accused of armed robbery at Bank of America Financial Center in Miami taken into custody – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

MIAMI (WSVN) – An armed robbery situation at a bank in Miami prompted a quick response by police.

Miami Police arrived at the Bank of America Financial Center, located at 150 W. Flagler St., Friday afternoon.

According to police, the suspect held a bank teller hostage.

The street was shutdown as negotiators got to work inside the bank.

People who worked nearby captured video of the massive police response.

One man had left bank right before the suspect came in.

“A stroke of luck that I didn’t get caught right in the middle,” Monty Michael said.

7Skyforce hovered over the scene as police took in a suspect into custody.

No injuries were reported.
