Broward County June Condo Sales Report


Broward County’s June condo closings and sales volume tumbled from May’s highs.

Condo sales reached $381 million in June, down from $414 million in May, yet still up from $336 million in April.

Brokers closed 1,128 sales In June, compared to 1,162 in May, Multiple Listing Service data from Redfin show.

June sale prices ranged from $60,000 to $3.3 million, with a median sale price of $250,000. The median price per square foot was $241, and ranged from $82 to $2,064.

By comparison, May sale prices ranged from $70,000 to $13.3 million, with a median sale price of $240,000. 

A condo at Las Olas Beach Club snagged June’s title of priciest sale, snapping a three-month streak held by Four Seasons Residences in Fort Lauderdale. Unit 2003 at Las Olas Beach Club, at 101 South Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, sold for $3.3 million. Gianpierre Giusti with Coldwell Banker represented both sides of the deal. The deal breaks down to $1,087 per square foot. The unit sold after 36 days on the market.

June’s cheapest sale bottomed out at Condado Real. Unit 209 at 5100 Southwest 41st Street in Pembroke Park sold for $60,000, or $82 per square foot. Patrick Musanda with Barrington Home Realty handled both sides of the deal. The condo spent 188 days on the market.
