Several crashes reported as heavy rain, strong winds hit Miami Valley – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio
Multiple crashes were reported across Miami Valley as a line of storm, carrying heavy rainfall and strong winds, quickly passed through the region early Sunday.

The storm hit the Miami Valley shortly after 12 a.m. During this time, News Center 7 crews confirmed that the storm brought a quick deluge of rain and winds that obscured visibility especially when driving on the wet roads.
The poor visibility and possibly dangerous driving conditions coincided with an increase of reported crashes throughout the region.
