Fifteen Miami Fashion Institute students unveil creations during Graduate Show

Miami Dade College’s (MDC) acclaimed Miami Fashion Institute (MFI), in collaboration with Miami Fashion Week, held its annual Graduate Show on Tuesday, June 6, at The Elser Hotel in Downtown Miami. This year’s show, themed “Future in Memories,” showcased original designs by MDC students in the fashion program. Fifteen graduates who earned an Associate in Science in Fashion Design were selected by a jury of industry professionals.

They unveiled their creations on the runway worn by professional models. MDC’s Miami Fashion Institute (MFI) is the region’s only two-year program at a public institution offering associate degrees in fashion design and fashion merchandising.
