It’s Rented for $350,000 a Month. Meet One of the Priciest Homes for Sale in Miami Beach.

Listing of the Day

Location: Miami Beach, Florida

Price: $76.5 million

A new waterfront home on sought-after North Bay Road in Miami Beach offers a long list of desirable amenities, including killer views, a boat dock, water frontage and a home theater.

The seven-bedroom house is “brand new,” said listing agent David Solomon, of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty. “It was designed and built custom for an end-user who was very involved in the planning process and the whole works. He hasn’t really been using it as much as he thought he would.”

Most recently, it has been rented for $350,000 a month, he said. “It’s a spectacular property.”

“The top thing everybody talks about is the view,” Solomon said. North Bay Road in general tends to have “big views, which means open bay. This particular house is directly downtown facing.”

“As soon as you open the front door, you get a straight downtown view, through the living room and over the pool,” he said. “You’re west facing so you have daily sunsets—a beautiful orange that lights up the whole sky.”

The furnishings were custom built for the house, and it is being sold furnished, he said.

A curved floating staircase leading to the upstairs level is to the left of the front door, with a saltwater fish tank tucked underneath. The media room is on the right, and there is also an en-suite bedroom on the left.

The rest of the main level is “one big open living space,” with a bar area, dining and living areas and a sleek kitchen, Solomon said. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors open wide to bring in ocean breezes and enhance the indoor-outdoor feel of the whole house.

Other design details include a mix of marble and wood floors, 10-foot-plus ceilings and back-lit marble wall built-ins.

The second floor holds five more bedrooms, including the primary suite and its large wraparound balcony, Solomon said. Three of the bedrooms have direct downtown views and all of them have balconies.

Stats

The 7,767-square-foot house has seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and two partial bathrooms. It sits on a 0.36-acre lot.

Amenities

Amenities include a four-car garage with a lift, a wet bar, an indoor water feature, a home theater, a gym, a rooftop terrace, balconies, a heated pool and spa, a covered summer kitchen, a boat dock, 70 feet of waterfront and a pool cabana with a bar, a barbecue and a full bathroom.

Neighborhood Notes

The surrounding neighborhood is known as Upper North Bay, Solomon said.

“North Bay Road is super exclusive and it’s not a thoroughfare, so you don’t get any traffic,” he said. “It’s quite private and calm, with a lot of tech money there now.”
