A turning point in Leo Messi’s future

Lionel Messi’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain is about to expire on June 30, since then there have been a lot of speculations about his future. According to multiple reports, three clubs are looking to secure Messi’s services this summer: Barcelona, Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, and MLS side Inter Miami.

According to the Athletic, Lionel Messi‘s decision is now between Inter Miami and Barcelona, and as of now, he has ruled out Saudi Arabia, which is ten times higher than the MLS side’s offer. The Saudi Arabian side have a stunning €500 million per season offer for him, hoping that he would move to the Middle East.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona president Joan Laporta held a meeting with Messi’s agent/father Jorge Messi. His father is hopeful that there’ll be a decision soon, he also revealed that the club along with Xavi are looking to possibly convince him to make a return to the Camp Nou, and start from where he left exactly.

Barcelona have not been able to present an official bid to Messi yet during the meeting. Both sides feel that time is running out but Laporte and Jorge Messi have decided to take days to see if there can be a solution.

Even though reports have suggested that Messi won’t sign for the Saudi Arabian team, yet they are keen on signing the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner and Argentinian legend. They are prepared to pay him close to a record €1 billion over a two-year stay.

If he somehow decides to make a move to the Middle East, he will join his long time rival Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, who recently announced his exit from Real Madrid has signed for one of the Saudi Arabian teams, Al-Ittihad Club, there are speculations that Ngolo Kante will also join Karin Benzema at the club. There are also rumors that Wilfried Zaha, Crystal Palace captain has been approached by Al-Nassr, the same club Cristiano Ronaldo represents in the Saudi Pro League.

El Larguero, the Spanish radio station, adds that the Argentine is not interested in the world-record offer and is instead thinking of moving to Inter Miami, and he is happy to collect €50 million from the club per season.

David Beckham is confident that Messi will join his MLS club, Inter Miami. MLS commissioner Don Garber has stated that the league would do everything possible in power to help Inter Miami sign Lionel Messi. This would be the biggest transfer in United States sports history and will elevate the level of the league to unforeseen levels.

MLS is trying to lure Lionel Messi to Miami, his deal will include profit sharing with Apple and Addidas, everything is on the table for Lionel Messi. Lionel Messi is expected to announce his decision this week, he is keen on getting a deal signed within the next 10 days.
