Building your global real estate network through MIAMI YPN Global

Miami’s welcoming and diverse community attracts buyers from all over the world, and the numbers are only growing.

Buyers from 54 countries purchase in South Florida, according to the MIAMI Association of Realtors’ latest global study. Foreign homebuyers purchased $6.8 billion of South Florida residential properties in 2022, up 34% from $5.1 billion in 2021. South Florida secures about 10% of all international home sales in the U.S. annually, and more than half of all global home sales (53%) in Florida are in South Florida.

With so much international business arriving at our doors, there are endless opportunities extending beyond our local boundaries. It’s imperative for real estate professionals to build their networks across the globe. The MIAMI Association of Realtors Young Professionals Network (MIAMI YPN) opens the doors for young professionals to start and establish their global network of referrals through MIAMI YPN Global.

Growth of MIAMI YPN

Building a network of professionals who empower and better each other is crucial to the longevity of our business. It builds the solid foundation one needs to build upon. At MIAMI YPN, we have built a network of passionate and innovative young professionals whose main goal is to build relationships and experiences that will help empower and elevate each generation not only on a local level but at a global level.

We are avidly looking to collaborate and expand our global reach by consistently adding to our YPN Global referral database, which is available to our YPN Pros. This referral network includes agents from all over the U.S., CILA Jovenes (Central and South American Young Professionals), FIABCI Emirates, SIMI (Brazil YPN), Canada, Europe and more.

Major international conferences

MIAMI Realtors has been enhancing South Florida’s global exposure by exhibiting at major international conferences for 30 years. This year alone, MIAMI has exhibited at MIPIM in Cannes, France; the International Property Show in Dubai and RealtorQuest in Toronto. MIAMI and MIAMI YPN’s presence at these elite events creates global business opportunities for our valued partners and members while enhancing South Florida’s global exposure.

I was honored to be one of the MIAMI leaders who recently exhibited and presented for South Florida real estate at RealtorQuest, Canada’s largest real estate show and expo. MIAMI YPN also had the honor of presenting during the MIAMI Global Real Estate Congress, which is held annually in the fall and brings delegates from dozens of countries.

Miami YPN will be presenting during the 73rd FIABCI World Real Estate Congress, which will be held June 5-9 at Nobu Eden Roc Hotel in Miami Beach. This marks the first time in the International Real Estate Federation’s incredible history that Miami will be the host city and a local Realtor association will be the host.

Under the theme “Building for the Future,” the 73rd Congress will have former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush as keynote speaker, about 50 world-class speakers, attendees from 70 countries, four days of high-level conferences, the Prix d’Excellence Awards known as the “Oscars of Real Estate,” the historic black-tie FIABCI Medal Holders Dinner, business networking opportunities and social tours of Miami’s iconic neighborhoods, venues, attractions and more.

Two new strategic partnerships were signed which included FIABCI Emirates and PNP (Property Network Partnership).
