Rita Regev Spector, Realtor and Real Estate Coach for new Agents

Rita Regev Spector, a well-known unofficial Ambassador of Aventura has been active in community events for nearly 30 years. She’s been a member of the Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce for over 20 years and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center Advisory Board.

With two decades of exemplary real estate experience as a Broker Associate, currently with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty in Aventura, Rita has found, and sold, homes and investments for hundreds of families and is also licensed in Arizona. She and her husband, Dr. Sidney Spector, are world travelers and are often on the move; literally hiking and biking through exotic destinations.

“ I’m a “serial volunteer” and love helping out charities and mostly PEOPLE one on one,” said Rita. Having started her real estate business with a mentor, she knew that having the proper guidance from the start ensures that a new client will have a significantly shortened learning curve and make more money than they spend once they become a Realtor.

“Most agents do not understand the entirety of real estate. They focus on passing the state exam and, ‘hanging their license’ with a ‘friend’ of family member who the new agent thinks will hand them business. Many new agents become discouraged and dispirited with real estate and may give up. New agents must look at real estate as a BUSINESS and not a lark or part- time activity. Real estate demands focus, time, monetary commitment, knowledge and perseverance,’ she adds.

Rita understands that in real estate, there is no room for nepotism. People do not hire professional service providers (eg. medical, renovation, travel), unless they are confident that the professional is the best suited for their needs.

Rita notes, “ Buying and selling real estate is a person’s most valuable asset and should only be assigned to an experienced, cost-conscious, results- proven agent, regardless of their family connection. Clients are wise to engage an agent who understands and fights for their interests and not a commission at closing.”
