Wide receiver Koby Howard has a strong connection with the Miami Hurricanes.

The 2025 wide receiver was at the RAW Tryouts and shared his thoughts on what it meant for Head Coach Mario Cristobal to visit him while he recovered from a horrific leg injury he suffered at Legends Camp this past summer.

Howard received a visit from Cristobal while in the hospital and was also offered a scholarship by Miami.

“Mario Cristobal coming to the hospital, it meant a lot to me,” Howard said. “That was a very special feeling that people don’t get to experience a lot.”
