Here are the top stories today in Miami:

1. An investigation is underway after Miami Police said one of their police officers discharged his weapon while trying to take someone into custody early Sunday morning in Wynwood. The incident happened around 3:07 a.m. after police were called to Northwest 2nd Avenue and 27th Street. Reports said people were screaming and running away during the shooting. (WPLG Local 10)

2. Tambourine Room has opened in the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort at 6801 Collins Avenue on Miami Beach with a six-course tasting menu and only 18 seats available. The restaurant is currently wine only and serves wine by the bottle or glass with an option to add a wine pairing for an additional fee. (Eater Miami)

3. The Maiz Project is now open at Time Out Market Miami and is serving Venezuelan street food fare. Diners can enjoy open-faced corn toasts, ceviche, empanadas, elotes, fresh juices, and more. (Time Out Miami)

4. Baseball season may be over, but the third annual Marlins Team Store Holiday Experience is here with a chance to win up to $1,000 in Marlins gear at the Marlins Team Store at loanDepot park. The contest will close on Monday, Dec. 12. “Many fans use this experience to stack up on gear for themselves while also completing their holiday shopping for family and friends,” said Jessica Lee, Marlins Director of Fan Programs. 5. The Miami Dolphins fell to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13 in a 33-17 loss. The 49ers won despite losing Jimmy Garoppolo after the first series with a foot injury that ended the season for Jimmy and put Brock Purdy in the game.
