How Miami is addressing needs with its 2023 recruiting class

The Miami Hurricanes football program is working hard to upgrade the depth and talent with the 2023 recruiting class. 

According to the 247Sports Team Recruiting Rankings, Miami owns the No. 9 class. 

UM’s class features two five-star commits in offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa and cornerback Cormani McClain. The Hurricanes also feature commitments from nine four-star prospects.

Miami’s 2022 season ended with a disappointing 5-7 season. It is the starting point of the Mario Cristobal era and the path to improvement is going to require stacking talent over multiple talent acquisition classes. 

The Hurricanes roster has plenty of deficiencies that need to be addressed via talent acquisition.
