12 young players that Miami can build around moving forward

The Miami Hurricanes football program is rebuilding.

That means it is time to identify which players are going to be good fits for the Mario Cristobal era moving forward.

This article looks to identify young, talented players that have the right mindset and approach to help build UM to being a relevant team in the future. Not only are these players talented between the lines, but they also embrace the work it takes off the field to maximize that talent.

Miami (5-5, 3-3) will look to significantly change the roster this offseason via the transfer portal (both with acquisitions and transfers) along with the process of stacking talented recruiting classes over time (a three or four year period is required to build true depth).

The Hurricanes currently own the No. 9 overall class in the country for the 2023 cycle. UM’s class currently ranks as the best amongst ACC teams.

UM features plenty of young talent on the roster to build around.

Read on for a look at the young players on the roster that can play a big role in building Miami back to relevancy.

Note: The following players are from the 2022 or 2021 recruiting classes. There are certainly older, talented players that deserve to be on this list as well, but we are keeping our eye on the future–long term and short term–with this list.
