Gisele Bündchen Bought Another Florida House – DIRT

Turns out the modest Miami Beach-area cottage Gisele Bündchen bought earlier this year will ultimately serve only as her private office space or possible staff quarters. As first reported by Page Six, the Brazilian supermodel has now forked over $11.5 million for a contemporary residence just a short jaunt via boat across the waterway from Tom Brady’s unfinished $27 million Miami Beach megamansion, in the exclusive Indian Creek Country Club community known as “Billionaire Bunker.” Records reveal Bündchen does not have a mortgage on the property.

Last sold this April for $11.7 million, the home has been on and off the market ever since — once for as much as $15.9 million. After four subsequent price reductions, the place finally went to Bündchen at a significant discount in early October, just days before the divorce from the seven-time Super Bowl champ and current Tampa Bay quarterback was finalized.

Resting on a private cul-de-sac lot spanning almost a half-acre, Bündchen’s new digs were built in 1981 and designed by Miami architect Barry Sugarman. Described in the listing as “architecturally unique,” the stone-accented structure features five bedrooms and seven baths in nearly 4,000 square feet of two-level living space boasting high ceilings and open-concept interiors, plus a dock and 92 feet of water frontage. Large windows and terraces provide picturesque views of the waterway and Indian Creek Island.

Highlights include a fireside living room, dining area, and an expansive wood-paneled kitchen outfitted with two islands, newer stainless appliances and sliding glass doors spilling out to a patio. Elsewhere is a master on the main sporting dual baths, as well as a movie theater, gym, playroom and glass-lined office. Outdoors, the grounds host a freeform pool, along with several spots suitable for lounging and entertaining. There’s also a spacious motorcourt and two-car garage.

Brady, 45, and Bündchen, 42, were married in 2009 and share three children — a son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9, along with another son Jack, 15, from Brady’s previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan. Worth a combined fortune in the hundreds of millions of dollars, the couple’s property portfolio includes homes in the Bahamas and Montana, as well as a New York City apartment where Bündchen had been staying during their split. She also retains a Costa Rica vacation home.
